GUINEA'S GUYS FROM SHIP. SWIMMING WITH A LIFEBUOY TO OCHAKOV

It was not far from the world-famous resort of the Black Sea Spit. A strange group, as for this area, followed on a broken country road. They were obvious at once, because they do not look like other vacationers. The sea roared nearby, and a group of daredevils rolled up their sleeves and headed towards Ochakov.

They interested not only visiting vacationers, but also local border guards. Because the group consisted of young black men. And this group was already known to Ukrainian servicemen. After all, this was the second attempt by Guineans to enter Ukraine.

THEY WERE HIDING IN A RESCUE BOAT FOR THREE WEEKS

The day before, the cargo ship arrived from Guinea to the Dnipro-Buzkyy MPT checkpoint in Mykolayiv region.

While registering the ship, border guards found these illegals without any documents. The young men said that in the port of Guinea they secretly got on a ship and hid from the team.

The endurance of Guineans can be envied by the most professional athletes. After all, for almost three weeks, black illegals hid in the deck crane, in the bow of the ship and in the lifeboat.

Ivan Shevtsov, assistant chief of the Kherson border detachment and chief of the press service, told journalists that the border guards did not allow the Guineans to land. They were under guard until the ship left.

But the illegals decided not to give up so easily. After the ship left in the opposite direction, they jumped off the ship, taking with them a lifebuoy.

GUINEANS - FROM ODESSA WITH LOVE

Illegals from this African country are regular customers of organized criminal groups from Ukraine.

Thus, four already convicted Volynians have set up a channel to transport Africans to the European Union. They transferred, except Guineans - peopel from Congo to rich Europe. They also specialized in Syrians.

One of the criminals regularly visited Odessa. Here he was looking for foreigners who wanted to go to Europe illegally.

Then the Africans were transported to Lutsk or Kovel. Here they were hidden in various houses and apartments, fed and instructed on crossing the border. The criminals were waiting for the right moment. And illegals were transferred to bypass official checkpoints.

Odessa is a hub in general, from where a large number of illegals go to Europe. For example, in another story, Guineans, students from Odessa, specialized on their diaspora, and searched for both in Odessa and among tacquaintances in Guinea who wanted to move to Europe.

As we wrote in previous articles, in many cases the channels of illegal migration begin abroad - and not in Ukraine. Such an organized criminal group, which included both Ukrainians and Moldovans, had few members and citizens of Turkey. It was in Turkey that the latter searched for those wishing to enter Ukraine illegally, first into Ukraine and later into Europe. One of the groups of Turks managed to reach as far as Odessa. However, thanks to a special operation by border guards who sent a "mole" to the group, the criminals were exposed. Their fee is 11 thousand euros per person. 5,000 were transferred in Turkey, and another 6 were to be paid by relatives of Turks in the Netherlands upon the arrival of illegals.

ARMENIAN “ROMANIANS”

The Armenian family also wanted to get to their relatives illegally. With the support of Ukrainian criminals, they tried to travel to France with forged passports. Ukrainian "craftsmen" provided illegally stolen Romanians' passports. This group specialized in the Kherson region. Here in sunny Skadovsk and Lazurny they were looking for clients.

So, while Romanians Lazar Dragos Eugen, Robu Mihaela and Dragan Constantin produced stolen passports, according to their documents, Armenians tried to leave for Europe. Their long journey, from Kherson region to Zakarpattia, and then back to Lviv region, ended at the Hrushiv-Budomezh international checkpoint of the Hrushiv border service of the Lviv border detachment on the territory of the Hrushiv village council of the Yavoriv district of the Lviv region. During the border passport control, the illegals could not explain why they were leaving to France through the territory of Ukraine. And not directly from Romania. Why did they make such a big hook?

Who but border guards - even former servicemen - should know all the wisdom of border patrols and the location of infrastructure at the border? So, a native of Kazakhstan, from the village of Dyakivtsi, Hertsaiv district, Chernivtsi region, was well acquainted with this phenomenon. Convicted of robbery at that time and serving a suspended sentence, he led citizens of the People's Republic of Bangladesh through the village where he lived. For catching criminal, exept operative-search services of border guards, were thrown SBU employees. Who organized an ambush in the woods near the border. Having operational information about the illegal activities of the former border guard.

Not only do convicts transport people to Europe. And what is very dangerous for European countries, the criminals convicted in Ukraine, who are banned from going abroad, are trying to cross into Europe illegally.

UNDER THE BLANKETS IN THE TRUNKS

On the way to the dream of EU wealth, illegals suffer a lot of inconvenience. And even life-threatening things. Stories happen systematically, as with the Hindus from Bila Tserkva. They reached Lviv in the trunk, covered with blankets.

There are plenty of such cases. For example, in another story, a special hole was cut in a minibus under the passenger seat, in which a convict in Ukraine hid and tried to cross the state border.

From under the Russian border, across all Ukraine, illegals are transported in trucks. Often, without adequate ventilation, food and water. Such did a powerful Turkish syndicate, which until recently operated in the Lviv region, and sent Syrians to Europe.

Do not think that the cross-border mafia regarding the transportation of illegals is popular only in Ukraine. However, of course, across the Ukrainian border, getting to Europe costs the most. Thus, in previous materials, we cited specific cases where prices per person range from 10 to 12 thousand euros. By comparison, the Serbian mafia recently smuggled a group of 140 illegals into the Schengen area for just $ 18,000.

RECORD HOLDERS

And finally - a little statistics. According to Ukrinform, citing SBGS data, last year the State Border Guard Service detained almost 9,250 illegal migrants.

Of these, 691 illegal migrants were detained at the border with EU countries. Most - on the border with Poland (263) and Slovakia (217).

Others were identified, including for violating the rules of stay in Ukraine.

But 1,067 people were detained for illegally crossing the Ukrainian border. The main category of offenders were citizens of Moldova (206), Turkey (131), Afghanistan and Russia (62 each), Bangladesh (58), India (56).
